Ecobuild 2010

We invite you to visit Alumasc's stand - number 1547 in Earls Court 1 at this year’s Ecobuild event. Alumasc is showcasing the environmental benefits of its market-leading building products, with a special focus on the latest initiatives in Green Roofing, thermally efficient Facade systems and Rainwater Management.

Alumasc, with ZinCo, the European market leader in Green Roof technology, lead the way in the design and supply of Green Roof systems. ZinCo Green Roofs have a track record of use in Europe of over 40 years and have been widely specified in the UK for over 15 years. At Ecobuild, Alumasc's stand will feature detailed displays of alternative ZinCo green roof build ups, which perfectly integrate with Alumasc's highly respected waterproofing solutions - Derbigum, Hydrotech and new to the Alumasc range - Firestone EPDM and TPO single ply membranes. Also on display will be the ZinCo Fallnet fall arrest system and ZinCo photo voltaic supports.

Alumasc’s Energy Savings Trust accredited External Wall Insulation (EWI) systems and Decorative Renders, will also be on show. Alumasc offer straightforward, cost effective EWI solutions to thermally upgrade and visually enhance all types of solid wall properties. Sustainable, natural Cork insulation will be a key feature of the Facade systems display. Alumasc’s EWI systems can also be seen at the “Renew” feature at Ecobuild which showcases insulation solutions for the 10 million ‘hard to treat’ homes in the UK. Alumasc will be running a series of live demonstrations illustrating how EWI is applied and the benefits it offers by adding a decorative, weather-proof insulating treatment to the outside of a wall.

Alumasc's well known Rainwater and Harmer drainage product ranges complete the stand content, including its market leading Aluminium Rainwater systems, the Harmer SML lightweight cast iron soil and waste system and the renowned Harmer Unitary Drainage range - including the new high performance Harmer Shower Drain.

Ecobuild is the world’s biggest event for sustainable design, construction and the built environment and combines an 850 exhibitor-strong product showcase with more than 100 free conference and seminar sessions and dozens of interactive educational attractions.
