Alumasc will be showcasing the environmental benefits of its market-leading building products at this year’s Ecobuild on Tuesday 1st to Thursday 3rd March at Excel in London.Our stand, number S1420, will have a special focus on the latest initiatives in Green Roofing, thermally efficient Facade systems and Rainwater Management.
Together with ZinCo, the European market leader in Green Roof technology, Alumasc leads the way in the design and supply of Green Roof systems. ZinCo Green Roofs have a track record of use in Europe of over 40 years and have been widely specified in the UK for over 15 years. Our stand will feature detailed displays of alternative ZinCo green roof build ups, which perfectly integrate with our highly respected waterproofing solutions – Derbigum, Hydrotech and new to the Alumasc range – Firestone EPDM and TPO single ply membranes.
Our Facade systems, including External Wall Insulation (EWI) and Render Systems, will also be displayed. We are an Energy Savings Trust accredited system provider offering straightforward, cost effective EWI solutions to thermally upgrade and visually enhance all types of solid wall properties. Sustainable, natural Cork insulation will be a key feature of the Facade systems display.
At 11.45am on Wednesday 2nd March, our Facades Business Manager Stewart Taylor will be presenting a seminar on Cork: The Natural Future of Insulation. The seminar forms part of the “Sustainable Design” series, taking place in the South Gallery Room 3.
Our well known Rainwater and Harmer drainage product ranges complete the stand content, including market leading Aluminium Rainwater systems, the Harmer SML lighweight cast iron soil and waste system and the renowned Harmer Unitary Drainage range – including the new high performance Harmer Shower Drain.
Finally, a range of our sustainable products will be in use on Cityscape, a major attraction at the show, focussing on the greening of the built environment, and the encouragement of biodiversity. Comprising live demonstration areas and a variety of case studies and installations, Cityscape will explain the practicalities of greening and enhancing biodiversity.
